Introducing Together’s newest communities

Community: a group of Audencia alumni, students and staff with shared – topical, geographical or class year – interests.

 

The most recent community to be set up by alumni ambassadors since Together was launched is:

• The IMM class of 2012 community. Led by Barbara and Robert this highly international community has been created in anticipation of the IMM class reunion in Paris on 23rd September 2017.

 
The following communities have also been created since the launch of Together:

• The Lille regional chapter is proud to announce its launch and new ambassador Cedric Foussard.
• The EuroMBA programme community has been set up to gather alumni from this innovative blended learning Executive MBA programme delivered by a consortium of 6 European schools including Audencia.
• Audencia Junior Enterprise is the youngest group to be created. Its members are proud of its ISO 9001 certification and are looking forward to interacting with alumni from around the globe.
• The Beijing international community and the Shanghai international community have been launched and their ambassadors Yuan Ji (MBA 11) and Eugenia Lao (IMM 12) are actively looking for new members to join them in their respective cities. This community has been created for "better communication and collaboration among all students and alumni from Audencia" they say.
• "Courir ensemble c'est quand même plus sympa", the Run Audencia club will make this possible for alumni and students in Paris. Join ambassadors Fanny Sili and Nicolas Vergne.
• The Sport Business club is for alumni and students who hope to or who are already working in the field of sport. Ambassadors Arthur Heresbach, Gurvan Heuze and Nicolas Vergne say "rejoignez une communauté de passionnés pour échanger et partager!"
• The Dubai international community is only a few hours old. Ambassador Audrey Teppe's keywords are mutual support and sharing information. Join her to participate in the growth of this community and making those keywords a reality. Audrey, by the way, is a GE 02 alumna.
• Laurent Tam Nguyen (GE 91) is ambassador for alumni in Ho Chi Minh City. He is unstinting in his support of the school from far away Vietnam and always has great ideas for activities and events. Join him in the Ho Chi Minh City international chapter if you are living or doing business in Vietnam as this is the place to be!
• The Brussels international community is an historic alumni group that has been around since the inception of Audencia Alumni. Françoise Herbouiller (GE 85) is ambassador and says "L'important est de partager et faire savoir dans le but d'augmenter les opportunités d'agrandissement, d'approfondissement, de connaissances à tous les niveaux." Françoise is also looking to share or hand over the ambassadorship of the Brussels community so feel free to contact her or Audencia Alumni if you think this is a role for you!
• Alumni in Phnom Penh have been active for many years and has now, much to our delight, created its very own Cambodian international community. Leangmuy Aing (IMM 11) is ambassador and says "We look forward to welcoming you !"
• The Santiago de Chile international community is a tiny but perfect community in South America! "Networking in Chile" starts here so be sure to join ambassador Philippe Blecon (GE 90) to get a head start!
• The Sydney international community is now active and is looking forward to welcoming Australians (and Australians by adoption) to the group. Matthieu Boutard (GE 12) is the ambassador for this group of Sydneysiders and says "one should be grateful for everyday spent in Australia". Join him to see if what he says is true!
• The MS MOS 2017 community is a class group of future sport management alumni who will graduate in 2017. "Let's continue to share our experiences" say Arthur Heresbach and Nicolas Vergne who are sharing the ambassadorship of this fledgling community.
• Switzerland Geneva-Lausanne is a large and dynamic community in the heart of Europe. Great ideas and an enviable agenda are the keywords; last year, amongst other things, alumni were able to attend a conference on CSR at Nestlé - Vevey and visit an underground station while it was being built."The best times are when we share", says ambassador Rodolphe Morvan (GE 90).
• The Grande Ecole community of Engineer-Managers is a meeting place for engineers who graduated from the Grande Ecole Programme and for managers who graduated in engineering! Hybrid skills and double degrees since 2010. "Let's think about the future of the engineer-manager curriculum and the new professions which these dual competency degrees will lead to", says Malek Mtimet (GE Ing-Mgr 15) the community ambassador.
• The Chengdu international community was set up in anticipation of the visit of the first cohort of DBA students to Audencia from SWUFE in Chengdu at the end of April.
• The Club Audencia des Dirigeants de l’Ouest brings together leaders in western France and aims to encourage connections between alumni, inspire students in their learning and support the school in its development. François Macé (GE 79) is the ambassador and says “If you are a business leader or entrepreneur [5 years experience, 3 as an entrepreneur], you share the aims of this club and you want to make an active contribution then come and join us!”
• Audencia In Tech connects tech players and shares information about new trends and best practices. Jonathan Trevier (GE 13) is the community ambassador and says “we intend to connect people who are interested in the tech environment – from start-up players to members of large groups.” The community grew from 0 to 40 members in the 2 days following its launch.

• The Lima international community was set up by Anne Bonneville (GE 15) who has recently arrived in Peru. “We are a brand new community, and for now not that big, but together we will grow” says Anne. Philippe Blecon (GE 90), Audencia ambassador based in Santiago de Chile, is delighted to welcome Anne to the community.

 

A community can be topical, geographical or a class year group. Alumni, students and Audencia staff from all horizons are invited to join these communities. And, if the community of your dreams does not exist, drop us a line (together@audencia.com) to discuss setting it up. There are three basic requirements to set up a community:

1. one ambassador
2. ten alumni members
3. one event per year.
