DESCRIPTION:As one of the measures to reinforce IP protection, China has established a specialized jurisdiction. Among all IP cases, technology-related cases (such as patents, know-how, software, plant variety, trade secrets, etc.) are of still more importance. In order to harmonize the judicial practice regarding such cases, the IP Tribunal of the Supreme People’s Court was created in 2019 with exclusive competence regarding all appellate cases related to technology.\n\n \nHow the IP Tribunal has functioned and what particularities in its settlement of disputes for 3 years? He has more than 20 years' experience in IP-related litigation and arbitration. Famous for his competence in this field, he is a distinguished lawyer in strategy for IP dispute settlement. He has successfully defended his clients in several ICC arbitration procedures in recent years.
