The new workplace of the future is showing a way to balance profitability with investment in people and wellbeing. A way of structuring your company which means people are respected, trusted, and act from a place of power (not fear), while also being very clear about their accountabilities.

In this session Paulina Sygulska Tenner will discuss the new workplace of the future with the focus on three main takeaways:
 

1. The principles into building a transparent workplace.
2. How to create a culture of empowerment (including getting your people to set their own targets/goals).
3. How to encourage and recruit self-management to individuals and teams.

About our speaker
Paulina Sygulska Tenner is an entrepreneur, an angel investor, a TEDx speaker and a founder of GrantTree. Paulina started with a purpose to help tech start-ups navigate the complex world of government funding and since 2010, the team grew organically from two to more than 50, and raised over £200m for more than 600 technology start-ups and scaleups using solely government funding schemes. GrantTree is also an open culture company which pioneered a self-set salary scheme, and an empowering culture governed by holacracy.

Paulina is also a seed investor and a start-up mentor, who features as a keynote speaker at technology conferences worldwide. She has been interviewed by the BBC, the Financial Times, the Guardian, featured on Channel 5, in the Huffington Post, on Virginstartups.com and many more.
